Do I need to buy Ancient Magic?

The BLM in my static has all AMs and Elemental Staves, but we only really use Flood or Freeze if we want to MB, he'll only use the others when we're doing coffers and stuff like that. Or the occasional Flaring of a L1 mob.

I was in a party yesterday in I was bursting with freeze against crabs left and right. Of course, we had an awesome redmage and a great paladin to fall back on in case it didn't kill him.

As for the long run? I really wouldn't recommend it as it really is a MP drainer. The RDM I had yesterday was great, so I was always refreshed so MP wasn't really a problem. Sad thing is, you don't find redmages like that often.

I say at least get Freeze, I got it for 3k I think, which isn't really much considering I dropped 40k on Stonega II and never used it. It's always fun to swing by Valkrum and Cast Freeze too ;3 Get like a million examines right away ;D
