Sleepga necessary at this time?

I just hit 31 (spent an hour solo'ing 400 exp I lost from dying lol), and could buy Sleepga. It's not that I can't afford it but I'd rather use the money for better things. Do I need this spell at this time?

The whole line of sleep spells are very important, at your lvl elemental seal sleepga will work a treat if you get a link etc.

First off, congratulations on 31~!

As Gavin said, it would be wise to have Sleepga ready for emergencies. A Bard's Horde Lullaby won't be able to you all the time when you get a link, Sleepga might help you at those times. I wouldn't save your Elemental Seal just for these occasions though, keep using it for when you're casting those II spells for accuracy+.

Aye, its worth it, Elemental Seal + Sleepga = Time for you to get the hell away, and/or Escape your party =) Also, i use it for farming, just for fun, heh, train orcs in the Grotto, put 'em all to sleep, take a screen shot or 2, then nuke them, considering that some of the orcs drop 30-40 gil w/o gil finder, its not bad, its not the best, but still

I didn't bother with sleepga at all for a long time. Dealing with links...well, most of time, /ma "Sleep" (or Sleep II) <stnpc> worked just fine for me. Multiple links the paladin would gain hate of them all and we'd just escape. I bought sleepga II immediately though, for BCNMing. I got sleepga after a while, but I've used it in an exp party maybe once, and then only to overwrite lullaby for shits and giggles. Sleep and Sleep II are VERY important. Sleepga is situationally useful (I never was in a situation where I needed it...so I never wanted to buy it). Sleepga II is very useful if you do BC60 at all, but not really usefull for much else.

Heh I've already used it several times, once in Garlaige (which thankfully I DID NOT level in more than 5 minutes, thank you Altepa<slow but fun>) which got me a compliment as a BLM. Then tonight a party member and I were running back from Crawler's Nest to Jeuno and a gob aggro'd us, I slept it but she still hit it and then another aggro with a buncha bee's linked and I cast sleepaga and we were home free. She told me that as a blm she didn't buy it because she thought it would be useless lol.
