i am a lvl 26 blm and i really like blm but i always see taru blm my lvl who have so much more mp and most blm are tarus i dun know wat to to cause i dun want to start one really but i feel really discouraged to be a blm now i also dun wanna restart casuse my friends is around my lvl and i woukd have so much catching up to do cause i am alos rank 3 and stuuf like that that we have done togther wat should i do????????

Don´t take this offensive, but first thing to do, is learn English, and English Grammar.

There are spaces between paragraphs, and this little thing called a period. That makes everything so much easier to read.

As for taru´s it´s not really important if you have less MP, most Taru´s at that lvl waste there MP, casting stupid stuff. Casting Blazing spikes when it doesn´t matter, during a party.

There are ways to get more MP, but I don´t think you have enough gil to do them.

Astral Rings, would be a good addition if you wanted.


Another thing to think about, is that taru, that you see, that has all that MP. Has so much mp, that they have so little hp. Compare yours to theres. As a blm, you shouldn´t get hit but it does happen.

One more thing, do a /sea all blm 1-75 next time you get a chance. You are going to have to break that down, but on my server atleast most of the blm´s are taru, they are hume.

i wouldn't start a new character, Hume BLM can turn out really good. Taru are just built for the mage class =)

Personally, I'd go with whatever you feel like looking at for literally days of your life (Playtime = 60 days. Sadly...I had 50 days played the first 90 days I owned the game. Slacked off recently though). I crack myself up every time I do a /panic, so I don't mind staring at a midget. Plus, I love being 1/8th the size of something and still kicking so much ass. Personal favorite is toying with Giants in Delkfurt. Much amusement to be had by all :spin:

Anyways, aside from elvaan or galkan, pick what you want to look at, and you'll function more or less the same at upper levels. If you like the look of elvaan or galkan blms, then choose them, but be prepared for prejudice, and for massive amounts of farming for gear just to be average.

After lv72...all races pretty much perform the same as a BLM. So much +int gear available, and MP recovery makes it so you never really dip below 50% mp until the last mob, so the difference between a taru and an elvaan is like 15 (not sure exactly) int (15-30 damage per nuke) and about 200 mp. Not *that* big of a deal. So at least in the end game, should you make it there, the difference isn't as gaping as it is in the early levels.
