do black mages have to buy their magic before they use it? if so, do they have to buy each spell they use again and again after they use it???

What you do is buy or get a scroll, then once you are the lvl where you can use the scroll, go ahead and use it. Then you know that spell for the rest of the game. On all the jobs that you have that can use that spell.

So say you get a blm with stone. You don't have to repay for stone when you lvl your rdm. As soon as the rdm is high enough to use the spell it will appear in there Spell list.
