Camped it for my Static RDM. Took us 2 days and 5 or 6 Kills. Brought 46 THF and got the drop on the 1st kill with him. Camped it for another RDM last night... A Cockatrice spawned... then he spawned right by it. By the time I could get close enough for Shadowbind.. a 7x Monk provoked it. Probably end up camping it again for my Taru BLM.

i was with a lvl 75 blm friend and we where hunting it like at 5 am. i waited and waited for the thing to pop but no luck, i was literally passing out on the keyboard so i said i am logging i am going to bed.the next day i ask if the blm had killed the gob, and guess what!!.. 5 minutes after i leave,it pops and he gets the moldivite!!! ><.. talk about bad luck:sweat: .. and tomrrow we are hunting it the whole day.. ill tell you if i get ay luck (^_^)

The first time I went, I went with a lv59 drk, 59 whm, 63 rdm, and me, lv58 blm. We got the claim, no drop. Next time I went, I got there as this JP killed him. Luckily, I convinced my friends to farm for an hour and wait with me for him to pop again. He shows up, we lose the claim...again. Spend another hour there, got the claim, no drop. I went there to check on him 2 times...both times I managed to see him get killed. Finally, went back again, got the claim, and held him until a friend could come, and we managed to kill him. Got the earring that time

Do you need to kill a place holder for this? Can a lv61 RDM solo it?

No placeholders are neccessary, although there are many gobs and cockatrices in the room where he spawns that love to aggro you. I forgot what level you stop getting aggro at, but lv61 is definately too low.

As far as being able to solo Profblix...a rdm should be able to do it by lv61 or lv62 or so. That's assuming of course you've solo'd before and your skills aren't that far behind cap

I soloed it as a 63 RDM. However, I didn't get any links since a DRG was farming the room at the time. Would of been very close if anything had linked.

I heard, 2 INT= 1 Magic Attack.
So does that mean Moldavite is 10INT, cuz 2 INT muliply 5 Magic Atk = 10 INT..

Moldavide is FAR more then just 10int..

its about 5~8% on your nukes depending on your lv..

10int don't add that much damage.. it does, but not as much as moldavide do.. on a 1000 burst thats rough 50damage and 10int would be something 12~15dmg

You heard wrong. INT straight up adds to the damage of the spell. It ends up being multiplied by the Magic Attack Bonus.
