Fastest way to 20?

I am just lvling this job as a sub to WHM before I sub SMN at 50. Any advice on quickest way to 17 or 20? I have a good amount of available cash for food/equip. Thanks for any replies!!

it took me about a week and a half to lvl my blm to 19. basicly you just do what you did to lvl your other jobs. i believe at 12 i went back down to vulkurm and managed to hook up with some fun guys that wanted to pretty much pt every day with me. so i got good exp that way. we all know 50-60 percent of ppl in the dunes dont really know what theyre doing when they should. anyways, thats what i did and im like 2k from lvling to 20 ^^

i got 1-20 in about 3 days* i ate apple pies the entire time.

1-5 ~~~ eat apple pies - kite mobs in Sarutabaruta (if you run them directly across a road, sometimes they lose ALL aggro and stop in their tracks up to 3 times)

6-8 ~~~~ isoloed decents & easies constantly and watched a movie to make the /rest time pass.

9-12 ~~~~ i soloed the worms in Konstacht highlands. theres a big area with about 12 worms spawns. AWESOME Exp.
9-12 in like.. 3 hours

12-15 ~~ maze of shakrimi. partied with another BLM and a WHM. extra BLM and RNGs help also. dont get more then 4-5 members.

15-19 ~~ valkurm... try to find PT of rank3++ and people with subs

can also get 20 in valkurm.. slowly.

i hear korroloka tunnel is good 15+ also, for mages

on the Konstatcht Highlands map. in the southern part of the zone , there are 2 large areas in the "Tunnel section" of the south area. The one the farthest west has the worms, i think. cast aero, move back, wait for aero, come back, cast. etc.

if you get bound, keep fighting untill your unbound.. if it gets close, rest. its not worth dieing for EXP

I'd personally level in Valkurm with a group.

But that's just me.

valkurm groups are HORRIBLE now. i'm not an expert, i've only got 3 characters (not jobs) 30+ , but i like to skip valkurm. its horrible. no one knows what to do, and unless you just got the game, you realize how horrible it is. it was good when i was there on my 1st character before the ps2 version, but now it is terrible

yeah the dunes just isnt the same the second time around. atleast second time around its easier to identify the newbie leaders and you know what mobs to kill and at what lvl to take them. im in qufim now at lvl 20 ^^
