Faerie Shield.

OK, why is this shield worth 50k? +3 to your elemental defenses just doesn't seem even close to worth that much.

Is it because of rarity? Or just the cool factor of beind a shield wearing BLM?

its +3 or +0 since blm can't wear shields, andyeah, b/c its a blm and bard i belive useable shield

I would recommend going for the Nymph shield. Its crafted from the Faerie Shield, and it gives 2 defense. Seeing as how blm dont get much defense, it's pretty good. And incase you're wondering, the Faerie shield is a NM drop, which is why its expensive. However on my server, the Nymph shield is only around 10k or so more expensive, so it's not so bad.
