Ok, this AF is really begining to annoy the ever loving crap out of me. Not because it's hard, because it isn't.

No...it's the fact that for the last 2 days, that's right, count them, 2 days there has been no rain weather in Rollanberry, hence CN.

I mean come on. Of all the stupid pos ways to make a quest.

You literally can't do your quest. You get to sit on your ass next to the weather nerd in port Jeuno and check....and check...

"Todays weather will be sunny"
"Tomorrow's weather will be sunny"
"The day after, it will be sunny with a chance of clouds"

a friend of mine waited 3 weeks before it rained.

I tried to solo it, and it was raining when I left jeuno. I died, went back with friends 20 minutes later, still raining, and we killed the ele and got the seeds.

Luck, really.

I got lucky too on this one. I went with a level 60 WAR friend of mine and it was raining when we left Jeuno, and it was still raining as we arrived in CN. But on our way downstairs, it stopped. Oh oh! So we then decided to just camp in the beetle spawn area and wait. Lo and behold, it began raining again in like 10 minutes. We faught the water elemental, got the seeds, and warped out.

Now, after hearing what you guys just told me, I consider myself really lucky on this one. I hope you get yours soon.

i believe that it often rains on earthday and waterday. a waited about two weeks before i realized that it seems to always rain on earthday and waterday.

BLM AF2 DONE!

And yes, at lvl 52 i solo'd the Water Elemental in CN for the bag of seeds. It checked as "tough", but not much of a problem.

Didn't take too long either. Had some melon juice to speed up mp recovery. So yes, proof that we can solo Tough Elementals if we use our heads.

And the castle Zvahl Bailey's part wasn't too long. Got the key off the 6th-7th demon.

All in all, this quest really...sucked. Aside form the cut scene you get when you return the seeds to chumimi (won't spoil it for you), the resf of this quest was just boring.

Let's hope they get better.

As for soloing the thing, congrats. I tried, but I was too close when I started casting freeze, so the thing aggro'd me. I got it real close to death, but not having Sleep II hurt, and the interruptions weren't so fun either

while i was headin to my PT in the nest .. i saw a BST fighting with an elemental .. i asked him to invite me and he did .. so i got the seeds bag from that dude ^_^

im worry about the 2nd part now .. and how to get a PT for it .. ><

~4 lv59-60's could kill the demons..they were ~EM at 58 I think. So if you had a lv60 pld, a lv56-60 blm, and a lv56-60 whm, you could probably take the demons...but they tend to be close, so you might want to take a few more for insurance. It's actually not that hard..just frustrating because nobody wants to go to Castle Zvahl Baileys.
