Black Mage leveling

Ok, its been a while everyone. I am wondering who all is on Bahamut server and could help me out a bit. Im a level 12 Hume Black Mage and I am having a pain leveling. Do you think its a good idea to get a group in Valkum and fighting some Snippers or should I fight in the Maze in Windurst. I really wanna stay around Windurst because I get all my magic for cheap there. Any suggestions would be great, for the time being I will solo Yagudo's and try and get a group going in the maze. I think it would be advantageous to get a group in the Valkum Dunes because I can level and I can get some of my quest items for a sub job. Well, again any suggestions or comments would help alot.

If you can get a Maze group going go for it, worms are really easy to kill but often heavily camped. If not, head over to Valkurm, maybe the easiest zone to find a PT in. Either way, make sure you bring some spell scrolls with you so you don't need to run back home for 'em.

Thanks alot. Balancing EQ and FFXI is difficult. I was going to Valkum... til I got raped some how. Well my parents took away all my belongings and I JUST got billed for FFXI this month, talk about a waste. So needless to say I can only talk through the school districts computers. And no EQ and FFXI for months... damn.

Rape is hard for anyone to go through... but for your parents to take away your entertainment for that is insanity! You probably need counseling and therapy not punishment!

Rape has to be easier to deal with than having all my electronics taken away for 3 MONTHS! This is so damn unfair.... no FFXI for 3 months and my fees were just sent in. I hate parents.

No need to hate parents, they are only doing what they seem best for you even if it is the wrong thing in your eyes. Also you can solo in the maze if you cannot find a group. I did that for several lvls and got 200ex per kill. They were easy to solo in Beta but I think I heard that with the recent patch they may have made it harder to solo them now, don't know though.

I am only level 12 and I was in a group of 13's, it may have been the fact that our only Warrior was a Taru Taru and the rest were Red Mages, but Maze Eaters were pretty tough. I am getting tired of this, I should just give someone my account since I cant play anymore. Atleast they could make a use of it.:spin:
