Hello all,
newish to forums.
I have been leveling my Galka as BLM and whm
mostly out of bordem and thinking that it would be a good challenge. well I am not bored anymore and it is great time.
I am curious about how i am stacking up to other mages around my lvl
At lvl 33.
i have right at 376 mp
think 37+10 int
I use roated mushrooms most time as food or apple pies
been doing faily well in groups just interested in how Galka Stack up.

You are doing alright.

Sure you don't quite match a taru, but I think you will function in a PT well enough. As a taru I had around 445 mp and 45+8 int for comparision.

One problem as a galka is you will keep getting worse and worse compared to Taru each time you level Should be able to work til around 45~50 but after that the gap is going to be huge between MP and int.

Taru has 914 mp and galka has 495 (base) at level 75 and base INT is 90 compared to 73

Think of this. I'm a 44 taru blm with 550 mp. I rarely use all my mp with the exeption of long chains. So just throw on a couple mp items and nuke away. You should be fine, although i would hate to see what happens when you get to the levels where it's harder to group. Good luck though, you will always be unique

yeah I am see'n the gap grow abit
the good think is once i catch back up to LS
i will be able to have a spot with them most the time
So far at 35 I pasted the 400 mp mark
i heard that from a JP BLM in full errant he has about 750
mana or so not allot at all but he crushes in HP dept.
so he is does not have to worry about the neg HP and things on the gear. So far i have noticed that in most parties i have been getting people are pleasently supprised whn i show up in the zone and have a decent mana pool. often more then the whm.
but to Any Galka out there thinking about it or something.
Please take the time to farm for equipment and gill to keep ontop of things. Galka can definitly hold there own as a Mage (atleast till 40 or so, in my experiance) but having good gear and stay'n ontop of it is a must. You may lvl slower then other that don't upgrade every chance they can but hey you atleast can rest assured that you are equipped well.

just a little fyi...the calculation formulas for int at 70 for most of the sites is wrong.
