Taru best BLM?

Ok, I'm still a newbie at FF11 (level 8 BLM), but anyway, is it true that Taru is the best class for BLM? I have a hume guy, but I read stuff about that tarus have way more MP etc later in the game. I know hume is not specialised in anything, but I like the humes most. Anyway, did I make a bad choice or isn't there that much of a difference?

all the races are passible blms except galka. taru blms have the higher int, but all that mp is usually not all used. when i had a taru blm, i had about 200+mp at lv16, and when fights were over, id have about 98-104 leftover. tarus also die very easily

elvaan are also pretty poopy ;p

I'm playing an elvaan blm, nearly lvl 50, and they're not poopy. Just compensate with expensive equipment for the stats you need. Taru blm's die very very easily. A mage should always watch how he juggles hate, but you will get aggro at times and no other race runs the risk of a 2-3hit death other then Taru.

But for dmg and MP, yes, Taru have the most in those fields. Granted you look like a 2 foot tall plush doll.
