Morion Tathlum?

I believe it is spelled Morion, but at any rate, does anybody know where to find this? I am very interested in aquiring one of my own

Morion tathlum, lvl25 ammo for all jobs, MP+3 INT+1. Dropped by Morion Worm (lvl50 NM) in the Korroloka Tunnel (link). Trade iron ore to the ??? that randomly pops around F-9.

Also: Phantom tathlum, lvl66 ammo for all jobs, MP+10 INT+2. Dropped by Phantom Worm (lvl70 NM) in the Kuftal Tunnel (link).

I camped Morion Worm last night: 1/8. The ??? pops in several locations at F-9 and at the tip of F-10. Here are more details about the NM:

Spawn Condition:

Trade an Iron Ore to the ??? that appears randomly. The Morion Worm will appear immediately and aggro the ore trader.

It has 5 different spawn locations and has a respawn of either 10 or 15 minutes (I forget which). Of the 5 locations, 4 are easily accessible and the 5th is kind of deep in, near aggro monsters like Jellies.

I spent an afternoon one weekend with 4 other people in my LS. We got about 7 or 8 spawns (lost a couple the warrior and bard in AF armor that were also camping Mori). Out of the 7 or 8 kills, we only had 1 Thalum drop, which is supposed to be the common drop.

FWIW, the Thalum sells for 60k on Fenrir. The worm also has another drop that sells for a couple hundred k and a +1 ring that sells for a cool 1.2 mil.

Yes. I beat the worm to death with a staff, drain and aspir only. ^^

It looks weak to a group not a solo. a group of low 40's will plow through it. Probably a nice upper level 30's nm to take down as well.

You don't even need to be that high. We were killing it as a group of low 30s, with most of us at 30. Group make-up was something like whm/blm, blm/whm, blm/whm, war/mnk.

There were a couple of times that it spawned in the distant 5th location where the blm and war duoed it, since it took too long for the rest of us to run down to it.
