Lving Areas

Ok, I have been playing FFXI online for about 2 weeks and I am a 15. Problem is I keep ending up in parties with people weaker then me, for some reason, Windhurst on my Server is full of Mages, and all the Warriors are either really Weak or super strong. So I usually end up getting partied with people that are 10.

Oh well, my question is there somewhere, that has good lving for me by myself. I go to Tahrongi the only thing I can fight and get decent Exp out of are the Dhalmel, Yagudo Pipers. Everything else either kills me or I get 36 or below. Is there an area that has good exp.

I tried Giddeus I always end up getting jumped in there.

Also is there anyway to increase your Int besides Lving and Armor. I don't mean temporaily with food. I mean permanently.

Go to Valkrum dunes to level. At 15 even most clueless folks start to notice that our damage makes things go much faster. You also can get all of the items used for the subjob quest in the dunes. Just bind in Selbina, and live there until you are 20 and have your items for subjob quest.

For extra int, get eremite rings, and a wand with int on it. You can get the wands fairly cheaply. There is a nice +3 wand and even a +4 wand that you should be able to use at 15. Don't worry about not having a high skill in wands (club). You should not be meleeing anymore.


Don't worry about making 200 exp per kill. The secret to exp is "steady pace, smiley face".
