Fastest way to get fame in Bastok?

I need a decent amount of fame to get a quest for a spell. The title says it all. I am looking to raise my fame as quickly as possible. I could care less about rewards to the other quests. Is there a quest that is repeatable that is simply looking for an item that is sold fairly cheap at the AH? I know some of you guys have had to raise fame and take a powergamer approach to it. Min/Max.
