what does aspir do, is it osmosis? and where do i get it? it cost 28k at ah on valefor.... thank you

Aspire will let you absorb MP from a spell-casting monster. It's extremely useful. Make sure you build up your Dark magic skill (by using Bio, for example) to be able to use it most effectively, though.
Oh, and Aspire isn't a drop. You get it from a quest in Windurst. The quest is from the Aurastery, you need a fair bit of fame to get it. You'll also need to be high enough level to fight Wendigos, say 30 or so. Then head to the East Tower in E. Saru, go through the cracked wall and a gate that requires a black, red, and white mage to be present. (This is also what you do for Windurst's mission 8, so if you're from Windurst you can do these at the same time.) You'll come across some wendigos, kill them until they drop "Test Answer Sheets". Turn in the answer sheets at the Aurastery.Comment

Its really usefull for DRK...they use it often (so they dont have to rest as much), for BLM they dont use it much, they would rather use the MP on attack spellsComment

Aspir is verry usefule magic for BLM.
you can take 50-100MP from Monster. you can take MP from these Monster kinds (crab, elemental, goblin, antica, oak, qudav, yagudo, sahagin, most kinds which have MP) it's worth for 20k. if you can do the quest you don't have to buy it.
If you can not offer the quest, try other quest in Windurst to get the fame.
