Questiona bout a spell

I was looking through the spell list and I have a question about one of them BLM spells? The spell "Tractor" says it summons a rpse, now my question is can you summon it from anywhere or do you have to be in the same area or zone as corpse?

Here is exactly how tractor works.

If your party member dies and you all run and get away. You come back and see there are a bunch of giants and bats around his body you would use tractor to pull him towards where you are on the in area. I think you need to be able to see the screen to get them to safety.

Yes, the first one is a lvl 25 spell.
