in terms of special bonus, there's couple wands/staffs I really like if I play blackmage
for party play.

Lilis Rod. level 50. obtained from the NM for Ribbon Quest in Eldieme. MP and INT boost are nice. and it randomly drains MP from enemies when you hit them

Fei Wand level 58. obtained from BCNM. Also drains MP with a greater boost to INT

Ebony(?) Wand. level 60. this one is rather weak compare to the 2 above but it's the easiest to find and very cheap in the current servers.
for solo play, pretty much any 2 hand staff with strong attack power would do fine. You'll want to save some MPs and hit stuff a lot more.

there's 7 torches in ED. if you light them up all together at once there will be 7 skelly NMs appearing. each will drop different kind of weapons with +7 in each stats but -1 in all other stats.There are painters who transform the sun into a yellow spot,
