DSL is cheaper, neways i'm gonna be making 200 dollars a week the 22nd is when i start work all the way till September... so u ppl will be poor..and 50 dollars a month is a 1/2 a weeks pay at a minimum wage out here! so i have no problem! dunno bout ya'll though.. and i'm not buying everything all at once...I'm getting th ps2 first and then the network adapter,then finish it off with the kb....I'll then only need the game and hdd and the game and network adaptter is about 235...no unless they are still bundled at gamestop......it would be ps2 and the network adapter for 200...out here! think about it the highest bill i will have is getting the ps2 the rest comes easy...yes i hav a ps2 but i want my own i have to share with stupid sibblings....lol I'm a twin with a yunger brother n_nand a older sister who moved And no dial up costs the most...spNDING FROM A MERE 3 CENTS OF MINUTE...U NEED A LOT OF TIME ON FFXI MEANING YOUR BILL COULD BE UP TO 500 DOLLARS A MONTH + THE PHONECALLS U MAKE...DIAL UP BLOWS ALL THE BILLS OUT DSL and Cable gives u a fixed price and unlimited usage...hope this helps ya!

Cables not the best because you dont have dedicated bandwidth; if there are a few people in your area who have cable and are using it, your connection will be slower. PLaying FFXI on the PC with DSL is definitely the best route.

UM OK! lol here's ur difference right here
Dial up: SLOWEST COSTLIEST TIES UP URLINE...on the good side u don't need a special modem to connect or buy....
DSL: faster then dial up slwer then cable, cheapest, doesn't tie ur line, needs a modem u buy, might be easy to hook up cuz cable u need cable first and dial up need a fone number to dial for your ISP, unlimited use.
CABLE: Fastest, can get a modem for free, costs more than DSL, unlimited use, can watch tv even though it uses cable lol,doesn't tie up ur line.....thats it....I used a cable modem before and it's the fastest sure but it doesn't take 4 seconds like on the tv!
FFXI
for PC: COST MORE IF U DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT EQWIPMENT.... if u don't have the minimal requirements then its gonna cost u alot.....U can download up dates but, it more on the electric bill, the controls will prolly limit u to using the macros, You waste ur memory for other things, Other then that ur pc is ok...Only if u have the right stuff....a ps2 is way cheaper, its equipment is way cheaper,ur ps2 memory doesn't matter cus u can just buy memorycards,u have a controller that works.....the only bad thing is that u neeed to buy expansions and that's not all that bad seeing that u need the game to buy the expansion so the expansion might cost 30 dollars at most....Thats nothing...just get it as a birthday gift...or get a job like me!

I suggest downloading suteki da ne from FFX DAXWELLS the orchistrated 1 they have like 4 different versions of it but this site messes up on some of their songs but not many of them from FFX and FFXI's are perfect sounds just like on the game!

The bards songs last depends on how hard it is to ues it. Its like spells. Fire 1 is shorter than Fire 5.

Just like bards, Requiem 1 is shorter than requiem 5.
