Pets vs Fenrir

Fenrir has always fascinated me.
As is the strength of our pets.

Today, 4 bst tanked and dd'ed Roc to death practically. Pets tanked for the bulk of the fighting. 90% tanked by broth pets.

Took 5 to 6 pets each but the bst's won and we're all now Roc Stars.

But anyways. We only used carriers and funguars vs a low HNM
We had a whm and pld for cures. The pld was not tanking.

It occurs to me that maybe bst broth pets in large numbers can beat fenrir as well.

So in order to do that more effectively, I want to know what people think are the strength of pets on attack + def + hp combined.

So the contest is:

Homuculus

vs

CarrierCourie

vs

PanzerGalahad

vs

Funguar

vs

Other pets.

The cactus is not in the running as we all know about him but is prohibitedly expensive to use so he's not in the running.

Please keep in mind I am just asking which pets to use for fighting Fenrir the mighty purple dog not to be confused with fafnir the dragon.

The pet in question must be both tank and DD. A group of the 6 of them must survive for at least 3-4 minutes with pet food use.
The pt will all be lv 70+ bst x6. Subjobs vary but most probably will be whm. several can sub nin or rdm or war or smn as well.

I know no one really knows the answer but give me your best guesses. We're not really afraid of avatar 2hr since carrier can survive it fairly easily from one guy that went with a regular pt.

lol I'd be half tempted to say take a mix. Each person uses a different type. Not sure if that's efficient or not, but would be damn fun. :]

To answer your question, I guess.. Carrie/Homunculus. No real reason specifically, just that they are very sturdy pets, and Homunculus has Counter. I guess if you wanted to go into detail, you could find a broth that will survive the best against Fenrir's specials and 2hr in terms of elements (dark I believe) and so on.

That is a tough one. I would agree with Lily though, mix can't hurt. I have yet to use Panz but I am assuming he has high HP. I have yet to be impressed with Hom, Carrie can take a hit but nearly worthless TP attacks. Only time I have actually used Fungar was in the 40BCNM but I love their tp attacks. <Silence Breath> <Do you need it?>

If Steffi scaled better I would say take them. Always impressed with her HP.

well it literally took like a month to set up. Lots and lots of planning.

But at last, my 6 bst pt kicked fenrir's ass XD

We ended up using panzer galahads and had 1 death on our very first run but won it!

^_^ 6 bst can pwn fenrir! Wmahahahaha we're not just for bc 40 rabbits anymore!!

We only managed to use 3 pet food and we did not have the 3k hp restore bug so we fought it fair and square and still won.

Gawd I'm so proud of the bst job ^^

And yes it was 74-5 pt. 3 75, 3 74's. 5 were subbing whm. 1 subbed rdm cause he's a galka and didn't want to lv whm XD

No leechers in this pt. Well it's not really possible to leech this fight with this config. We couldn't have done it with 5 bst.
