Well eventuall amemet will no longer be a good money maker, but at the moment, leathercrafters still profit too much from +1 mantles and continue to supply gil sellers with gil, i refuse to buy from them tho, I personally am lossing millions of gil a week because of them.

how profitable is camping amemet, anyway? obviously a BST can solo it (I killed it a while back as a blm/bst while skilling up); other jobs will have it a bit harder there, though, and it'll take several people to kill it, not to mention the time needed to spawn him.

how prfitable is it? when farming to buy haubergeon I camped it each morning for about a week. I didn't even claim it each time and managed to make 1.5 mil that week. skins were selling for 200-250k at the time.

There is currently a group camping Aquarius and Amemet everytime they pop. Not sure if they are sellers yet, but I will get some pictures.

some on Pande, good story actually lol, I was getting a coffer key with some friends in kuftal tunnel, I wandered off and got aggro by a sabotender sediendo or whatever (cactuar) and I started running from it(take notice it was unclaimed) and I accidentally ran in front of him and he voked it, the thing came soooo close to wasting him but his pt members got to him just in time, I found out later that the kid helping me get my key (lvl 75 thf) got amemet, and they trained a bunch of lizards around him and had their whm escape:mad:

gilsellers camp amemet, mee deggi, and stropers on titan, and that's about the only thing they do.

i have not seen them go for the jeuno hnms yet (there's a group that's past level 70)

also, it seems that the gilfarmers have been 'kicked' out of delkfutt's tower. i don't know what happend there, but now there's only 1 or 2 gilsellers that farm there (drgs) who don't even touch the thunder elementals since thunder elementals will rape them (shock spikes screws them hard :D, saw one almost die to one). the worst group is the group that monopolizes guardian crawler.

when i farm guardian crawler, i force them to leave by stealing their guardian crawler and then pulling it to the area where the exorays and mushussus are. they're not level 70 yet (those things will aggro at level 69) so even if they try to train me, they're not going to get very far themselves. so far, they've attempted to train me with soldier crawlers (pfft whatever) because they can't pull the rumbles and knights from down below :D.

there's other places that are basically untapped goldmines, even by non gilseller regular players that bsts can farm like crazy. *coughifritscough* i won't go into any details ^^

ya there are other places, but they basically have all the good ones. Hopefully they never go to HNMs (eventually they will tho)

Heres an Idea that might just work. Next time you see gil sellers in an area camping, wait for the spawn to come up and claim it, if possible, then immediaetly call for help on it, LOL. At that point get everyone in the zone to help you slaughter it and the gilsellers are out of luck for that round, rinse and repeat and they will take off to find another spot.


Or there is a way to email SE directly, there is a thread I read yesterday here forgot what it was called though, and threaten SE to take action now or you will quit and play WoW or EQ2 or something else. Have your friends do it and their friends that play as well. Get your server to do it too. I bet that SE will then do something about it if they knew that there would be more ppl quitting than the gil sellers playing.
