Beastmaster use Guillotine?

I always through that Guillotine was EX2 for Dark Knights, but all the web sites I checked all say its only EX, meaning usable with Drk main or subjob.

Although it wouldn't be much good soloing, can bst/drk use guillotine in a duo? I'm already level 60+ and my scythe is close to 200, so I'd also have last resort and soul eater subbed. With another bst/whm around to cure you afterwards, wouldn't it be a great finisher? Scythe is our second best weapon, and works fine for normal exping.

Let me know if anyone has tried it and if its possible.

Not possible from every bst that I've ever asked.

The best thing we can get is spiral hell (lv 75) after vorporal scythe.

Weapon Skills/Caps

You gain only "Shadow of Death" by subbing DRK. You can also gain that by subbing WAR. The other two missing skills, "Guillotine" and "Cross Reaper" can only be gained by a DRK.

Okay, thanks. I guess the two web sites I checked were wrong. I'll verify it for myself next level, and if I found out differently I'll post here, but in the meantime I won't waste any time levelling up drk to use as sub.

BST gets an B- rating on Scythe. That means even if you could use Guillotine, you won't get it till at level 62. That means instead of the "next" level, you won't find out for another 3 more levels and getting 200 skill at that point ...

One more level now, I reached 61 tonight, and my scythe is at 196, it caps at 199 this level so yes next level I'll know for sure. I'm keeping this thread alive until then. I just wanna say... the demonslicer is a damn nice scythe but it still sucks compared to Kabrakan's axe. Add Slow > All!!!

After demonslicer, the only other scythe worth using looks like the Kingmaker at level 70. Oh well.

it actually caps at 198 for some reason. I just capped it tonight after a lot of wiffing.

And there are some other scythes you should look out for. There is a lv 63 scythe Rare/Ex from rancid flesh monster in Onzo. Al`Outrance or something like that. It's pretty pimp.

King maker would be another good one to look out for.

The best scythe would be from sky HNM's. Scarecrow or something like that. It actually gives double attack, that war ability we never saw as /whm. 75 though >.<
