quick question

Just wondering if lets say I charm a fire elemental and attack a sheep with it and the sheep kills it.
Do I get the item from the elemental, Even though the sheep killed it?
I would try this for myself, but I'm only lvl 20 so just a thought that came to my head.
And last but not least I did use the search function.

Fire elementals are uncharmable. You have gauge, so use it when you're bored.

As for drops, you get drops if you or your pet kills the mob.

If you want, you could get a pet, weaken it, get it to LEAVE (not called release damnit), then kill it for drops.
