    omg, hell yes ^^

That's nice of them for giving us that.

    But I think we need something more when we get past lvl.35. I've been doing the same thing for 20 levels -_-;;

Great all we need now a SicII that makes us chose pet abilities so the command will be actually useful :spin:

If that's the only thing we get, that's pretty sad.

I'm sure we'll get some new broths and stuff with the expansion...

This patch comes before the COP expansion. But I have yet to hear any rumors about the BST getting anything new when COP comes out. Other than maybe a new charmable mob.

Well apparently SMNs avatars will be able to participate in skill chains. It would be nice if they could extend that to pets as well, though I doubt they will since we can’t predict what ability the pet will use.

Will the changes in NIN Blinking change any of the tactics for the "special-event, end-game, BST/NIN"?

Since you aren't tanking, it doesn't seem to matter too much about the "all AoE" wipe, but it does have you throwing up more shadows in a fight.

some of the new armor sets look like bst equippable, espically that funky body paint one, I know that will let us walk around like crazy bastards with a sheep head and body paint.

New broths would be nice but as long as they don't nerf our current ones, I'm happy.

                    bst/nin

Um, I don't know how well bst/nin really functions in end game scenarios really but I can see some disadvantages with the patch. The solo NM ability will be reduced a bit but not too much for us. AOE's used to damage us anyway so that's no change. Pets hold the agro in most cases anyway.

As for why bst/nin in the first place, I heard is for soloing things like "Eastern Shadow" cause of that dumb dimentional death thing, but luckily, it is single target so not a huge deal.

Personally, for end game special events, I think I'd go bst/sam for meditate. Bst/nin would be my alternate for showing off and soloing some other annoying NM's. If you aren't tanking anyway, /nin nerf isn't a huge deal.

Now the 15 million gil question: which would you use to solo Lord of Onzo. I want his kraken club dang it!

                    bst/nin or bst/whm or bst/rdm?

bst/whm but just to let ya know. he sucks you in. if you are standing next to your next pet, your screwed ;p i dont really think soloing him is the best idea.

Doh! oh well, hrm... well... uh... hrm...

So do you think 2 bst can duo him? or perhaps using a 3-4 pet rotation within the suck in range?

                        Any words of wisdom?
