I've been wondering, how does this combo fair? presumablly you could fight along side your pet for respectable damage.. is it true?

yah, and use utsusemi to block any non-aoe dmg....well, almost any, most aoe goes through blink. still tho, sub whm is the best solo-combination for BST....most efficient, im sorry ;p

NM hunts, Sky (stuff like Faust) or HNM fights, those are all better with /NIN.

Even with their AoE silence? Found that annoying. :[

How would a Bst/Whm Bst/Nin Static Duo work.

porbbaly quite well if the BST/WHM was a taru (so sorta makes up the MP lost by only 1WHM).. BST/NIN tbh only gets good at 74.. so u can stack blinks

I don't believe in choosing Races for Stats, that's just me.. Stats are only a perk.

I chose Hume for the look, my Brother (64 Rdm) might however spend his freetime with me as a Bst/Whm to help me get the swing of things, from what I hear it is not stop fun and the Exp comes when you want it to. plus a Bst/Whm partner can cover the inadequacies of a Bst/Nin(me) and vice versa.

Against some types of mobs in some level ranges, bst/nin works quite well if you are extremely good about not getting hit. Once you're fighting in territory where you end up taking a few hits, this combo turns to crap because of the downtime.

However, in some level ranges I actually got better exp/hour as bst/nin. It's also the combo I bring when I go to any standard exp parties, although that's just because my warrior is underlevelled for now.

As mentioned, any AoE will break your images and make this combo bad news. But otherwise, any slow hitting mobs without many AoE are good prey for this combo. I used it a lot in the 20s when I was levelling in Buburimu and Qufim Island. I haven't used it recently, but I can see it being fairly useful in Garlaige Citadel when I am fighting explosures, except you need sneak in there.
