Hiya ^^ I've just made my second character (Tarutaru) And hope to make him become a BST/NIN (Utsusemi and dual wield axes is just too tempting) But on my other character (lvl50DRG) I noticed that during genkai I was only in a paper PT with 1 BST, even though there are only about 20 or so on my server. So I was wondering, do BST just solo the mobs that drop the items?

you might be able to solo the bomb and exoray, i say maybe cause they might be too high but anyway the biggest problem will be lich cause you dont have much to charm and they are kinda tough so jugs wont be enough... i think

Coal and mold were pretty easy to solo, died once doing coal, I ran into something called Fetid flesh or something like that, made short work of me. Could not find a way to solo a lich in Eldeime. Had to get help with that item.Rank 9 San d'Oria

all are soloable. i soloed all of them cept the paper. but there was someone in my BST ls that was still around that did all 3. took him forever and liek 23473204982309 jugs to getthe paper.Comment

liches are actually not too difficult to kill. bring 2 steffis along; throw 1 at the skeleton, but don't attack along w/ the first pet. when the first dies, summon your 2nd bunny and attack alongside this one. keep in mind howmany times you've attacked so that you can avoid eating their AoEs.Comment

Attempted Lich at 49 - almost won
Went back at 50 was going to start fight with Carrie and end with Steffi and try a few other combinations.
It's very difficult to do, and I can only assume it's possible with enough gil for the jugs, pet food, potions, etc. Liches are just nasty critters without a pet bat.
A lvl 61 WHM was leveling club skills on the dogs and joined me for 6 lich kills after seeing me struggle. Dropped on the 6th.
All in all it's fun to try and solo things, but at some point everyone needs a little help.Comment
