DRG has the SAME CHR as White Mage or Paladin (3rd highest in the game). Could this be the answer to all Dragoon prayers?!

probably not. Dragoons go where everyone else exps at. You will usually not find anything to charm there for the bulk of the lv's.

On some lv's though, it'd be nice to have a pretty strong pet instead of the wyrven but you will not have release till lv 70 and that will cut into your exp. Not to mention that the pet will break charm at sometime and attack you possibly in the middle of a fight and since you won't have sic till lv 50/25, most likely you will get hit with a big ws if you tried this earily than lv 50. Whm's already running out of MP, don't put more stress on them.

I've seen a pld/bst and rdm/bst charm skimmers (lvl72-74). Took them a couple of tries to succeed, but when they did succeed charm seemed to last the "regular" charm duration. No idea what lvl their bst's were, though.
