No luck getting Courier Carrie @ Level 60 cooking. What's up?

Cooking@ 64, damn......just burned over 30k............ it gets very expensive at this stage and also there's a lack of recipes for a linear curve so I'm force to try and milk as many levels on a cheap recipe before using a new recipe (read: CHEAP ) And as you know, after you are 2 or 3 levels away from the lvl cap of any particular recipe, your skill up is very VERY slow.

Damn, I forgot to keep track of the time and moonphase, I missed the fullmoon/watersday. I'm going to see if I can get 67 soon and try it out at 30 lvl difference.

But good to know that you got Courier Carrier at 57 on that particular moon/day.


As for making cash on cooking..................bleh, that is all I can say. I haven't even bother trying to cook anything to make cash off of. THe only exception was when I was making pet food epsilon, on my server a stack went for around 8.5-9.0k. o.O that's almost 3x as much as the cost of recipe. So I made a few stacks and probably made like 8k profit, but that was just for fun. However, I noticed that HQ results of broths are fetching quite the big bucks. I mean a stack of W. Meat Broth was around 13k......o.O And most HQ broths were around 10-13k range.

I think I might just make some money from this.

Depending on your server, no one will buy it either... I personally like silavarde, but I have a decent chance at making them myself anyway, and wouldn't pay 20k for a stack at the AH.

The main problem is that fungaurs >> most other pets (since their WS's are so damn deadly as we all know), and fungaur familiars are a measly ~750 a pop in kazham.

Yeah the HQ are pretty expensive. It puts us onto the same scale as other classes that have expendable assets for lvling. Rng use arrows, nin use ninjitsu powders, and we use stacks of broths, though rarely I spose.

But yeah 15k for a stack of cassie.. :-\

Fish Broth recipe: Water crystal + Bastore Sardine x 4

Let's say I used 20 stacks of Bastore Sardines: 20 x 700-900 = ~16000 (let's say average 800 a stack)

And 6 stacks of Water crystals: 6 x 600-800 = ~4200 (let's say average 700 a stack)


So for ~20k

I can get around 6 stacks of fish broth, say you can sell it for 800-1000 (900 average) thats 5400.

F. Oil Broth: Just checked my Kujata AH, its anywhere from 16000-18000 (say average 17000). So for 18, i can get something like ~25k.

Expenditure: 20k
Revenue: 30k
Profit: 10k

Time wasted: NOT WORTH IT!!

*** I was watching T.V so I think I might have missed count on the regular Fish Broth result, give or take 1-2 I forgot to tally. Not a big deal though. (If there's something wrong with the math, don't kil me )

Anyways, I'm not sure if Watersday during 0-2% Moonphase will improve the yield. I'll have to keep a lookout when that comes. ATM, not gonna synth anymore, hahahhaha I think 1 hour of fish smell is enough.

When I have enough cash, I'll level up cooking to the next level (Master) and see what kind of result I can get.
