the prices for bcnm 40 drops have taken a huge crapper on bismarck, erase has fallen to like 260k from 350 before.

The price of signa is being fixed by some people and their auction mules to be a steady 380k.

Dark staffs while falling a bit in price is holding at 300k

Light staffs are 300k also. Don't even want to look at the 1 mil apollo staff.

Bst axe at lv 70, juggernaut, sells for around 2 million gil. Haubruk sells for 1 mil+ and the HQ +1 for 7 million.

There's a lot of stuff to buy as a bst as in other jobs but rarely will the whm need a juggernaut on top of his dark staff/light staff even if he did want to be uber.

And don't forget heaven's ring/melody earrings.

Heaven's ring if ever for sale is in multi millions and melody earrings are 70k normally while HQ are a million+.

And since we got no pt's to help us around with things, your eq = your life. So bst has some extra expenses too ><

Well, until you hit level (level 25 ninja such), the dual wield doesn't help you THAT much. Remember that the time between the swings is simply added from the two delays of the weapons. The only real advantage are any stat bonuses you get from your weapons. It's still an interesting combo, and IMO more useful than BST/WHM if you're ever in a party setting.

actually Viktoria, even with only dual wield 1, it is not just the two weapon delays added together

the formula is something like (weapon A + weapon B)/2 *0.95

When you get to lv 50/25, it changes to (A+B)/2*0.90

lv 75 ninjas can get all the way up to (A+B)/2*0.65 with all the gear and equipment allowed in the game. Might even be higher now with the Relic armor but I don't know the buffs so I'll leave them be.

Glad i came along this thread. Always wondered if blink would be worth it seeing i only get attacked a few times at most when i level as BST. . . buut then again i'm also still in the very low levels (late teens) and i'm sure situations will begin to change. After reading this i think i'll stick with the tride and true BST/WHM.
