Charisma affecting Tame / "Killer" abilities?

I am wondering if charisma directly affects the potential success of your Tame skill, and the chance for the killer abilities - "so and so is intimidated by your presence." It seems like it would, but I was wondenrig if anyone knew.

Quite often I've done Tame, and it says "Tame has no effect on the <mob>."

nah I don't think it does and I think you always fail taming becaues you might have a pet charmed already? can't remember but every I had a pet and tried to tame a link it never worked for me =P. i just release and Charm the add and run away >_<

Yeah, it's amazing. I've saved my party about 3-4 times when we've had adds. I just charm it, and park it. :spin: Risky, especially as IT stuff lasts for about 10 secs, so you have to be speedy about getting it away and then stay/release.
