I keep it on me a stack anyways, but i've noticed i don't use it much... maybe if i heel like swingin my axe one time less or something... but that it...


so.. is it worth, the space it takes up and the money it cost...

I only started using it at 28 for my tiger familiar to keep him alive a bit longer if he's low (quite rare). But I've been in parties in these circumstances and he wasn't getting hit much anyway.

Depends on if you think your pet is too low to tank your mob enough before it dies off. Something like that.

i think that higher level pet foods will be more useful. but like Lily said, i think it's mainly if you think your pet isn't going to be able to take enough HP from the enemy before it dies...

since alpha heals for 25 and beta heals for 50, i can only assume that Pet food gamma heals for like 75, delta heals for 100, echo heals for 125, and so forth...

i think the higher level foods can only be cooked and can't be bought on the auction (which is partially why i'm working on my cooking skills)...

at the very least, pet food is yet another safety measure when soloing imo...

I'll confirm you that:
Pet Food Gamma = 100HP
Pet Food Delta = 150HP

I still don't have a chance to use the last Pet Food because my cooking skill isn't high enough.

One great thing about higher levels (oh man, look at my profile, I haven't been on this site in ages :confused: ) anyway... I think somewhere in the mid thirties we get Release, which allows you to get rid of your pet with no hate added. This is an amazing thing, because you can chop the targeted mob down a considerable amount of HP, and then run in and finish it off. Its quite sexy.

Equip it at Ammo slot, then use /jobability "Reward" <me>
