Level of summoned Familiars

Used the Tiger Familiar last night at lvl 28.

Now, is the Tiger Familiar actually lvl 28 because that's what the jug description says, or is that merely a restriction so you can't use it at lvl 1 like with normal equipment??

So when I lvl to 29 and summon the Tiger again, he'll be my lvl? Or will he in fact still be lvl 28, no matter what lvl I summon it?

Pretty curious about this. I hope someone can answer.

each jug has a lv requirement. now each jug has a level limit, or most of them do. for instance, the harefamiliar caps out at lv 27 i believe and its a lv 23 required jug.


the only jug that i know of that doesn't have a lv restriction of how high it can be is the FunguarFamiliar sold at Kazham. I saw a lv 62 bst pop out one of these and start whaling out 80-115 dmg hits on some creature that probably was a decent to him with his Funguar...just amazing :D

does this mean that (typically) your summoned familiars are always rated "even" to you until you reach the level limit?...

for instance, if the hare familiar is lvl 23 when you're lvl 23, then when you're lvl 27 the familiar is also lvl 27?...
