2 BST PT, how do you maximize xp?

I have heard some people say about how two BST can take on ITs for great xp. I'm level 13 now but im too afraid to try and take on ITs lol. I've already died enough figuring out how to use BST the best. Anyone here that can tell me how 2 BST would go about killing ITs for good xp? Tame evens? tame toughs? let monster live? let monster die? Or if its even useful at my level or if i should wait till 35 to do 2 BST PTs. Thanks ahead of time =)

The thing I recommend is getting to level 35. I realize this isn't much help, but having the release ability makes PTing 95% easier.

My bst is only 8 but im guessing you tame 2 evens that are strong against the IT you are going to fight and then make em attack, if they are going to kill it make em heel when its almost dead so you get full exp, if not they should get it pretty close to dead and you two finish it off, if it still has a lot of hp for whatever reason then find another pet to throw at it and either keep throwing pets at it or zone.

The Release skill at 35... what is the timer on that for using it again?

Cassidy pretty much hit the nail on the head. = ) Thats the basic strategy you use. You dont care if your pet is alive or not because even if your pet lives and you kill an IT monster (both BST's equal level) you will still get about 170 exp. (more if you chain exp)

But as Star says, its a big hastle before level 35 because your pet will live and take exp most of the time, when you are ina party, or even worst untame at the wrong time.

I leveled 29-35 with another bst and i dont think i ever want to solo anymore, hehe. Its alot safer cause as BST's you learn to be a master at survival, having 2 people who can hold their own together is very powerful.

The best way to lvl with another BST is chaining Evens-Toughs non stop with no downtime(kill IT's creates downtime) sometimes we got to chain #5!!! Not many 6 person parties can do that frequently. Again it always depends on the area, if alot of parties around its hard to find Pets + monsters to kill. You would really need a whole area to yourselves with alot of monsters.

Jesus 17 was a lonnngg while ago, lol. I did regular parties till 20.

I didnt explore the windurst, sandoria areas much, im pure bastokan.

I think at that level you guys should check out a few places and see which do you guys like best. I really forgot what i could charm at that lvl so you have to see what the con's are.

Check out the Valkurn dunes . I remember soloing there for a long time. There may be some good areas for you guys to lvl.

Check out buburumi peninsula. Dhamels, goblins close to mhuara. There is also a beach with pugils, leeches and snipers.

Check out Jugner forest, it may be a lil hard still for 17, but keep it in mind for later on.

Finaly, around the mid-uper 20's head to quifim. You should be able to charm clipers by then, use them together and chain all the worms as fast as possible, later on you can fight the pugils and wights. Also, check out the other topic, guide to 30, theres some other spots there as well.
