I think it should be:

Your guide also states the range of songs changes, but I have never found this to be true. In your example you state ballad 1 having a larger aoe than ballad 2, but from what I have seen they both have a range of 9.9m and does not change.

Spam Harp Threnodies in Skill up parties. Don’t forget to face in the skill up direction.

In addition to these, SE adds in equipment bonuses such as Earth/Light Staff, NQ vs +1 vs +2 Instruments, and direction you face.

Erm, what?

As luck would have it for us bards, you can solo skill up both dagger and staff. I am personally wonking a steelshell in my freetime at cloister/tree zone. Just grab a ceremonial dagger and a trick staff. And lullaby mob and hit away. You won't be hitting it for it to do any damage (since both weapons are damage 1) therefore, it won't wake up. and you get skill points. What I did find however, is that while doing this on robber crabs, I would sometimes hit for 1 or even 2 with my trick staff. To counter this, I threw on the Errant's (-str) and problem was solved. Of course, you lose dex too, but at that point I was hitting for consecutively anyway.

Sadly this part of you guide no longer applies as of the last patch. Must do at least 1 dmg to skill up now.
