Something I originally never thought about because I didn't know that you could have more than two songs on a person at once. Well, turns out you can have two songs PER BARD, which is something I never knew. So, this morning, I got an invite from a party that was NIN THF MNK WHM BRD. Since it was a pretty off-time as far as JST goes, I figured they were taking me as a mage backup because that was all they could get (It was about 3AM JST).
As soon as we got to the leveling spot, they told me the songs stacked and that I would be singing both Madrigals while the other BRD would sing two Minuetes. This makes an insane difference. The melee missed 10% of the time if that, which is a huge improvement even over a 1-bard party. Also, because of the ATK up, they were getting ~+70 ATK, which was very nice. Because of the NIN tank, MP was never really an issue.
We ended up only PTing for 2 hours because somebody had to leave, but we got ~5.9k the first hour and 4.8k the second hour (two of the players had hit 56 by this time, so the EXP changed a bit). This was in Kuftal fighting crabs.
Wouldn't really recommend it with a PLD tank, but I never knew this type of PT could work at all, and it was nice.
