It also sort of depends on the people you're playing with. I was in Garlaige with a pickup party a few levels back. We ended up having a phantom(?) attack us after some of our PT members were raised. So we were not prepared to fight it. So I put it to sleep with my lullaby song. The PT doesn't know what to do so I walk far enough away that It won't hit me as soon as it wakes up. I'm telling the PT teleport out. But no one does anything. Then the phantom woke up again and yet again i put it to sleep again. I say teleport again to the PT, and still nothing. Now the third time I failed both lullabies. I see it casting flood and I type TELEPORT in caps. I know that flood is aiming for me so I run off beyond it's casting distance, waiting for my lullaby to refresh. By the time it refreshes I was able to hit it with sleep this time. So I start heading back to the group. As soon as they get in visual distance. I start running for them. Halfway there I see them teleport out, that is I see the finish animation for the spell...
Well, the point of this story is. Raise 2 for pickup PTs better to have a smaller potential loss of xp in a pickup party where you cannot count on people to back you up 100% and in set PTs not having a WHM is fine.
