  • The variety of Instruments (or lack of it)

Isn't it weird how instruments are either just harps, flutes, or horns?

They really should add drums, accordions, bagpipes.............

I mean, in Sauromugue Champaign & Castle Oztroja there is a Yagudo Drummer, yet he only has a flute because there's no actual drum instruments!

Yeah, like guitars can be considered string. Bagpipes are wind. I'm sick of horns -.-

I refuse to be impressed until the day that I see a tuba drop off of a yagudo.

I think it would be kinda funny on say.. april fools day.. that all instruments instead of pulling out the harp.. you pull out this big piano and start playing it. and just sorta.. put it back in your pocket...

Either way it would be a whole lot more interesting if there was more variety to instruments.

It'd be nicer if they fixed a few problems with the class first, but I wouldn't mind seeing some new instruments... say, +Ballad instruments, make it a Tuba, I don't care! >.>

I'd kill for a +ballad instrument. Even if its +0 ballad, as long as it gave me the increased time till it wears off. It gets annoying if I'm a tad slow to refresh for whatever reason and ballads start dropping early.

Couldn't agree more. Even if it didn't add anymore MP regen, I'd pay half a million gil for an instrument that increased my Ballad time by 20 seconds like the instruments for the rest of my songs do.

speaking of which, I know that madrigal+2 minuet+2, etc increases the amount of stats given. On the other hand, lullaby +1 only increases the sleep time. So would paeon+2 harp increase the time it lasts, or does it really increase it by +2 hp per tick?

I purchased the Paeon +1 Harp and it increases the HP/Tick by 1 along with the duration.

                              Ballad +1 Instrument = 5MP/tick = win.
