New Bard, Lots of Questions

Well, I have just started as a Bard. I am curently LV 7. And I have a few questions that I was hoping you guys would be able to answer for me.

1). What does my Instrument level do? I have been trying to keep my Horn, Singing, and String skills capped(string being the hardest), but what do they effect?

2). As I level what instruments should I have with me? I have been reading through the forums and have figured out that I need to be equiping different instr. for different songs, because of their + attributes. But which instruments I should have no matter what I can't tell. As in I'm sure that I do not need EVERY single instrument out there.

3). I pretty much know what songs I will want to cast on mages and melee but what do I want to cast on the monster?

4). Do my songs generate much hate towards the monster?

5). Is their any thing I should NEVER do as a Bard?


I know their are alot of questions and most have been probally answered before, but any help would be GREATLY apriciated.

Well, besides my third question about what should I cast on the monsters. I didn't find an answer to any of my other questions.:confused: Maybe I didn't look hard enough or maybe I'm just blind.:sweat:
