A few questions

Ok... just wondering about a few things.

#1) Are Carols useful for anything aside from summoner prime fights? If yes... should I be buying these at my current level?

#2) Is Carnage Elegy worth buying? Its fairly expensive... about 60,000 gil on my server. I can barely notice any difference using Battlefield Elegy on the mob, even with a Horn +1.

#3) After I learn Blade Madrigal, does double Madrigal become the norm for parties over Minuet+Madrigal?

1. Carols - Yah, that seems to be right. Specialized battles only.

2. I'm not at this point yet, but I can safely say I'd pass over Carnage at 60k. Maybe once I'm higher and have more money pick it up.

3. I would think Madrigal + Madrigal would be most popular. I'm not really very fond of Minuet right now anyway. It doesn't boost damage that much.. seems like +5 damage or maybe a bit more.

This is great if you have a Monk and Ninja, but if you have a DRK and DRG and they basically hit for 100.. that extra 5 damage doesn't look so impressive.

I believe in the end you willl have all the carol songs like summon fights, BCNM 70 (magic pot) and etc. So, if you have the cash now to get them, you might as well

I actually hunted the spell with some friends in Castle Oztroja. I plan to get Valor Minuet IV that way too. Carnage Elegy is NOT worth the 60-75K it costs but if you get it as a drop, its nice

Add the Traversiere +1 and the double +accuracy songs will help tremendously for melees. WS like Penta Thrust or Guillotine. I think most high lvl bards will agree double +acc songs are the preferred choice usually.

If you don't have all the money get Fire Carol yes. Fire Carol is wonderful agaisnt bomb types when stacked with Barfira. <.<; In some cases its like either everyone in the PT dies or they all goto red hp's. Your pick.

Wator Carol is good for Bard AF1.

Yup Madrigal/Madrigal as good as always, in some rare occation I Throw up Madrigal/Minuette if the Monster we fighting is a low evation type but thats real rare.
