Mithra Brd/Blm?

Hi guys im a mithran bard lvl 9 now and i'm subbing rdm, but i was thinking how would it be if i subbed a blm? I know people say whm is THE best sub for bard, but i sorta dont wanna be like everyone else.

How much more MP would i get subbing BLM rather than RDM and would people still consider to invite me? (even though i know no matter wat sub u have, everyoe wants a bard lol)

as bard, half your job is backup healing. go with subbing your red mage all the way if you care about being remembered as a good bard.

as a white mage, i always remember the best bards i party with. the sub-par ones....get lost in with all the other lame players ive played with.

definitely go RDM sub so you can have Cure spells.

well the thing i dont like about RDM is the lack of abilities it gets, only get one at lvl 40! With a BLM or WHM u get MP Regen, conserve Magic and other cool abilities that can hep you out. Plus since they are main magic jobs you would probably get more MP subbing them then RDM im guessing right?

RDM sub is alot weaker than WHM sub. First, you don't have Curaga I & II and you don't have Divine Seal which is a big lost. You cannot cure status effect and you don't even have the Bar(a) spell to protect your party members against status effect and magic damage. Another thing is that you can't even cast raise and reraise! The only thing you gain from RDM sub is Phalanx and not so Fast Cast

Hi I've played a rdm up to level 32, and I have to say it is a really awsome class. This said please do not degrade it to a subjob, because well it is a horrible subjob. Take Whm or even Blm but do not dishonor the name of the Rdm ^_^

The point of the BRD sub is not your MP but the spells you can use. RDM has fast cast etc but the RDM line of spells are not as group friendly as WHM spells. Sometimes people want to be different than others and thats cool but there is a reason why most people sub WHM for brd... cause its the best choice.
