I stack em sometimes, other times I don't. If the whole party is in the yellow, may was well stack them. If it's just two guys, well you can cast Paeon II and throw in a Cure or 2 or keep the chaining alive as well as to keep one of their offensive or defensive songs alive.
Then again, I'm only a lvl 20 bard so I'm learning too.

Most JP WHMs have the horrible idea to heal everyone full after a fight (yeah ok, but with a BRD ? ;; )...so casting Paeon usually is just plain frustrating.
But it brings up Stringed Instrument Skill whatsoever
Even after I explain to them what Paeon does they won't stop ;_;
BRD Job generally seems to be sooooooooo~ unknown.Rank: 10

I've found playing bard in a party is like fine tuning an instrument. Unless the other support members are able to adjust to us being there, there will be some overlap on support. Paeon is one example, but then again, at higher levels, mages may want to keep Mage ballad on themselves, as sometimes space limits you being able to only cast Paeon on the front line fighters.
Once everyone gets set in their routine, it's a great time, and the exp just keeps rollin in.WAR - 26

I find it simply more efficient to throw an extra cure or two rather than casting Paeon at all, because Paeon isn't just one song, it's Paeon plus the requirement to redo both mandrigal and minuet immediatelly at the start of the fight rather than singing when it's about to wear off or you're free to. Plus that paeon will usually only heal like 20 hp before the next mob is inc anyway.
Sure I'll do Paeon if there's a longer downtime but that's quite rare with good PTs (which BRD can get without any problem at all from my experience).
Imho, a bard having to do Paeon often is a sign the PT ain't all that good...
Above does not apply to valkurm/quifim PTs and mage back row.Shina - Rank 6 Mithra of Windurst on Ragnarok, ZM done, CoP done

I do that too Thingol, but they still cure to full. Back when I was a whm, I never really did that anyway. I mean it's not necessary to get every single member up to 100% life all the time.
I used the translators for mine too, so I have auto-regen coming up in party chat.
