What type of modifier does this have on our songs?

Does this affect the category of songs differently? Or does it just make them more effective?

doubles the effectiveness of our songs. it only lasts 1 minute though. that kind of blows because you have to resing all the songs after using the skill. it should last 3 minutes!

Hmm... my Soul Voice lasts for three minutes at level 60 and it did a few levels before it too. It's possible they make it last longer at higher levels, I didn't really use it lower down, no need to so I don't remember.

It lasts 2 to 3 minutes, but it only boosts the songs that you cast after you use it. so, if you cast songs at the beginning and end of it, you can have more like 5 minutes of soul voice.

Was going to test this last night but does it effect the sleep line of spells??

definately has doubled the effectiveness of songs for 3 min from levels 1-50 for myself!

For that matter ive used it and cast lullaby a few times and its never been resisted, the situations were far too hairy to count for anything like double duration or anything like that...i assume it helps resist rates though.

Thanks I was assuming it would effect resist rate and not duration but I will try this on some non drk type mobs and see if it effects the time they stay asleep

This definitely affects the sleep line of spells. At level 16, i was able to soulvoice+sleep the windurst dragon for bastok mission 6. And it stayed asleep until we were able to kill the searcher and then turn to it.

To put it another way, I tried to sleep the dragon with my level 30 redmage and it was resisted twice in a row.

This ability is great, but i think it should only be used for threnody and lullaby if you want to use it to it's full potential.

Well that is not the only use for Soul Voice I have saved the party a couple of times when mages go OOM by using this and stacking 2 regen songs this works wonders

Played around with this last night since no groups where biting the length is not effected as far as I can tell by the 2 hour I have not been resisted by any IT's I tried and trained to the nearby zone

when I was using the 2 hour seemed to be 12 to 14 secs with or without the 2 hour up On It gob smiths but I did get resisted about 40% without the 2 hour up

Now mary's horn that I was lucky enough to get last night does double the ammount of time I could sleep them now this is not proven but I did not have as many resists while using that as i did with squire's horn +3 cha
