With the abundance of +CHA equipment any race can do fine really. Mithra in a bardic role would be similar to hume, average HP, average mp. Your huge dex & agi won't matter much as a bard unless you're trying to lvl weaponskills.

I pretty much agree with Malachite. I am a mithra and I haven't seen any problems with being a bard. Though I have to have a lot more +cha items than I would like hehe.
