Race question

Now I've asked this question on Gamefaqs, and they were helpful, but I heard good things about this website. So hear it goes-

Now, I want to create two characters, a male hume(I'm male) and a Mithra. Now, I want these to mix good stats with an actual story, but nobody really know anything about that. Also, I don't know if I should make them both at once at not or if I should make them one now and one later. Also, I want to know if the people on this game have a huge problem with a boy as a girl character. I mean I'm not a homosexual(again, nothing wrong with that at all. It's just not me) it just fits the story and the Mithras look interesting/have good stats. Sorry if this is a question or problem people think is dull. I just don't want to have a problem with this game.

I doubt anyone would have a problem of male player. Almost all the north amercican mithra player I have come across are male anyways. :spin:

The thing is though, it takes a tremendous amount of time and effort to raise a character. Quests, missions, skills, levels. After you have put in a great amount of work on one char, maybe it's better just to continue to develop that character?

It makes sense if you want to try out how different races handle differently, I started with a tarutaru and an elvaan myself, but hume and mithra are nearly identical in many aspects. In the end, the difference between the 2 races are minimal. It may not be worth the time to bring up both.

If you don't mind me saying so, IMHO, you're being a little bit too paranoid about what other people might think...just go ahead and be whatever you want to be. Really, only total goobers care about whether or not your character's gender matches your own IRL.

Think about how you like to play the game, and then pick the race that maches with that style. (ie: you like magic play taru/you like mele play mithra/galka/elvaan) wether your a girl or not makes no diference what so ever, I think what makes peeps upset is if you lie and tell them you're female and then they find out you're not.
