For NMs, you could camp for Ochiudo's Kote, Fuma Kyahan, I think archer's rings....not sure what else is good for mnk/thf (Lizzy, Emperor aren't good because you really should have wide scan to camp them effectively).
For regular mobs...tigers in batallia. You can usually get a stack of fangs, 3-6 hides, and 2-8 silver beastcoins (steal from goblins) per hour, which is around 11-15k an hour or so. Not too shabby.61 MNK | 37 WAR | 37 THF | 35 RDM | 29 BLM | 25 WHM

With only chi blast, camping NM would be hard, at least for Ochiudo kote which has 2 placeholders, and the NM could be either one... if it happend to have the placeholders spawning a minute between, then you won't have a skill to claim if you missed the NM on your 1st try.
