Size of character model..?

ive always wondered does the size u pick when you start a character actually effect the size i cant purchase another id to test it...so if the size you pick does effect the actual size of your character and if so can some1 post pics of the different size ranges.

I have no pics but i know for a fact that it does for most races iv'e seen, I chose Small size with my Mithra, Some times i come across Mithra's that are taller, some times alot taller, So im guessing that it does....Also if it didnt...Why would they have the choice there..

dont have a pic but as an Elvaan i see these things lol. The difference between a Tall Elvaan (me) and a small Elvaan is about 1 full head length if i rememebr correctly.

Head Length. Is That Taru Head Length or Elvaan ?
Tarus have Humongus heads, Yes the size does affect how tall you, if it didnt, why would you be able to choose ?

Tall Elvaan males are huge...like 8ft tall. A mithra comes up to their navel, and no higher. But if you don't want to look like a freak as an Elvaan FEMALE, pick small.

I chose to be a Medium Elvaan. When I stand next to Large Elvaans you can tell the difference. They're alot taller and more thick than I.

you can also tell with gulka. a large galka is massive compaired to a small gulka.

As I recall, the same can be said for Humes. The 'large' ones look alot 'buffer'. I myself am medium in highth.

I use a Small Galkan, and I find that I'm only slightly taller, if at all, than average Hume. Elvan are routinely taller than I am as well.

I suspect most of the confusion stems from how the character builder doesn't actually show a difference for different sizes.

This is a funny question... of course it does matter, I am M size mithra, and I see mithra slightly shorter/taller than me all the time... as for noticable, I think it's easier to see in 3rd person view... it's not hard to tell a taru's size if you look closely

There is a photo in the Screen Shot vault on this site that has photos of the 3 elvaan sizes. It is very noticable..

I made a small taru, when i would stand by a large taru i would look tiney D= and the big taru would look freakish.. like.. really noticably bigger. id say 140% as wide as me or something... Not just tall, but like.. big.. and scarry D=
