Which city is the Hume best in? I'm thinking Bastok. Also, the different things you can do like fishing and cooking, is there a certain one that the Hume is best at? THANKS!

You can reach any of the cities after starting, but if you start in bastok for your home town you get a good ring that you can use at lvl 1. So start at bastok, get your free ring, and then go where ever you want.

I've not heard if any race has any advantages in tradeskills.
If you plan on starting tradeskills early on, you might consider starting in the city which has the guild you need to get over level 10 in that skill:
- Bastok: Alchemy, Smithing, Goldsmithing
- San d'Oria - Smithing, Leather Crafting, Woodworking
- Windhurst - Fishing, Clothcrafting, Bonecrafting, CookingComment
