Weird sounding question

Hey everyone, well lemme explain my situation first. Well I used to play everquest for about 3 years, been in one of the top guilds, etc. And i was wondering what you think the closest job is to the Druid in EQ, i was thinking sort of a Mix between BST and BLM, but lets say I go BST/BLM supposidly the mage isn't a good subjob at all for BST. The things that interest me about the black mage is the nuking ability and sometimes the "spike" spells, but what I really like about the BST is the soloing ability and the charming of a pet. Would BST/RDM be a good idea? any suggestions from actual players (need some input).

BST/RDM could work for a taru, but BST/WHM would be better realistically.

But I hate BST in general, soloing is boring and PTs won't touch you til 35, if then.

I think RDM sub would be better than WHM sub because of the abilities and the addition of faster casting. What is so great about WHM sub anyways versus RDM? I don't see what is so special...

Status cures, reraise maybe, but mainly status cures

I bet there's alot of bst out there that think that job is Godsend from above, cuz you'll see that unless you're in a static party, when you're out there lfg all day, you come to hate this game. Or you do find a party, that nets you MUCH less xp than if you had solo'ed / farmed. Yeah...those n00b parties you'll find even at lvl 40+.

Sometimes i bet S-E thought there'd be party haters so they made the bst job and smn job just for them. A melee type and a mage type of the solo life. Course you can always join in a party if they're lfg. Bst/wars actually make pretty good tanks. And the stupid rumor about pt losing xp is WRONG. only the bst gets a penalty from xp. Pt gets normal xp, i've tried it and the bst was better than the war that had to leave. We got like near 3k/hr with bst. Kinda fun cuz i was always afraid the tamed mob would turn against us and destroy our party, but the bst had good chr.
