Most RDM i've seen sub black mage. More MP than subbing WHM and you get Warp at lv 34.

Most RDM sub BLM, but it's best to have both WHM AND BLM leveled, incase you need to be main healer at some time

Not that I have them both leveled, but....that's what would be ideal, given more free time.

um...the current "best" subjob for redmage is blackmage o_o-b
but in order to level your blackmage...whitemage subjob is prefered so level that too...

i wrote on another thread that my ideal path to making a redmage/blackmage in the end is by...
starting with a whitemage until 18...and get subjob...
then level blackmage until 37...so youll be 37/18
and last level redmage to 75...resulting in 75/37
i like this path because...well...redmage tends to...have a lot of skills that need to be raised...and by playing whitemage and blackmage already...you wont have to worry about raising your skill for a while...and hopefully by the time you start redmage youll get some gil to...buy your redmage equipments that were better than what you had at the beginning of your other two jobs...it makes things a lot more enjoyable o_o-b

the other subjob for redmages is summoner...but...those are much more rare and...they play a bit differently...ill detail on that if you want to know...but...this combination wont be significant until later levels...so dont worry about it for now and when you get to a high enough level youll be able to figure it out o_o-b
