How often do you see/party with a Galka?

They seem to be, BY FAR, the least popular of the races. There are tons of people who like Taru because they're so damned cute; the various internet boards are overrun by Elvaan and Mithra supremacists; people play Humes just because they're adaptable, but I don't see much except complaints about finding groups as a Galka.

I was wondering what the proportion of Galka are to everyone else.

Are they as rare as people say?

Even though Galka make better melees, do you see more Tarus trying to melee (due to the overrall shortage of Galka)? Do you see more Galka than the other races in ANY job?

I see plenty of Galka running around on my server. Most of them are WARs or PLDs, but you see a fair number of others as well. I'd venture to say half the parties or so that I'm involved with include at least one Galka.

I agree, Im a Galka level 30 Monk. I have been playing for sometime, but yet I have PTed with a total of 3 Galka's my whole game time. All I can think of is 2, but im fairly sure there's a 3rd. reguardless Galka's are really rare on Asura..

As far as other Galkas, hmm, not that often. I wouldn't say we're rare exactly, but several days might go by without me partying with another Galka. Once as my Hume it might have been 2 solid weeks with no Galkas in the party. Which is a shame.

Galkas...hmm, they arent the strongest, nor populerest of the group, but...ok i donno were im going with this, but i have to say, I THINK GALKAS STINK! to all the galkas, sorry about that...but its true, all Galkas are good for is becuase they have "big mussules" whoopty doo, Elvaans can do magic, they can fight, they can do mostly everything..... but im not dissing all Galkas, just most of them... sorry to all the Galkas that want to beat my sorry @sS....

Sorry, Bud, but Elvaan are just as bad at magic as Galka. 10-15 more MP doesn't make you Mr Mage.

And Galka are better at melee also. They have slightly lower Strength, but higher Dex (which is more important than Str), Vit and HP.

Face it, Elvaan are second rate melees and 4th rate mages.

Mithra, however, are cute as a button. But I don't want to be a catwoman just yet.

Dude, face it, Elvaans are faster (becuz they arent strapted down by all that muscle), Better at Mageing, (and yes, 10-15 diffrece counts), and..... uhh ok Galkas are amazing at meele, and i mean that, if they were to meele me i would be done, but that doesnt count if i wope there sorry @sS with Mageing, or if i run away??? so its called survivle of the fittest, and Galka v.s Elvaan, Elvaan is the fitter, but if it was a hand to hand fight between Galka and Elvaan, Galka would win, and we can all agree on that....

tauguy i think u should fuck yourself you little sob, i picked Black Mage and Fighter becuase i know those two will go good for me becuase my friends give me good weapons, nvm good weapons, GREAT weapons, if only i could identify them i would tell you what they were, theres one sword thats black, donno what its called, but anyways that doesnt matter, I agree that there are alot of Elvaans out there,(hey more to kik your sorry lil ass) but the more the merryer! Now Galkas are great, i have one in my group and he is pritty crappy if i do say so myself, lol and he knows hes crappy, and i see other Galkas, and the weaker they are, so what am i supposed to think? Theyer strong? there was this one party, he couldnt even keep up with them they were at the beach, the guy almost died, wtf is up with that?????? but i also said that Galkas are good at fighting hand to hand, and they are, and thats why i think theyre only good at one thing....Fighting.

Mithra are one of the cutest races and they are the fastest because there cats and I love kittys but thats not the reason I'm a mithra I like them because there ajile and can steel stuff realy faster than any other race and Galka are the uglyest things out there...I dont meen to be mean but its true. I also agree about the Elvaans there are to many of them in Vana'diel where ever you go you see like at least 10 of them in one fricken place I mean comeone why are the Elvaans the most popular race is it because they are wise? or is it because they have pointy ears...and long hair I realy do not uderstand it at all can someone please tell me why they are so popular?
