People who have been playing FFXI on the computer, which class do you see the most? Which class are there the least of? Which would you like to see more of?? Thank you

It varies by server.
Look here and here. Both of which where found by useing the search feature with the words 'popular' and 'jobs'. *cough*

On my server, and i think most servers, there are far more damage dealers than there need to be.

At higher levels, you generally need:

Tank (paladin, or really rich ninja, sometimes war)
White Mage
Redmage/Bard (lessen downtime)

and the three others, usually damage dealers. just which ones
get picked usually depends on the type of monsters that are being hunted.

i did a /sea all whm pld rdm and brd, and there were more dark knights than all 4 jobs put together.

Personally i'd like to see more bards. Usually there are 3000 people on the server, and 25-30 bards, 90% of which are japanese and won't group with north american players.

On the flipside, i'd like to see less Summoners, Ninjas, and Rangers, only because i've never met a decent north american player of any of those jobs (they're too expensive/hard to optimize)

Always more melee than mage... just look at the job list and you will see

Healer is the main problem... finding melee is always easy, finding mage is like finding a rare item =_=;;

Id love to see more warriors, if you do a /sea all war you will get a TON but thats ALL new players and subjobers. I dont think there is a single NA warrior above 40 on my server. (Odin)
